Description:
Ghruta or ghee is revered as herbal gold by the ancient rishis and yogis. A short excerpt from the many verses in praise of Ghee in Ashtanga Hrudaya:

Shastam dhi-smruti-medha-agni-bala-aayuhu shukra-chakshushaam|

Ghee is apt for those who wish to enhance dhi (intelligence), smruti (memory), medha (grasping power), agni (digestive fire), bala (strength), aayu (longevity), shukra (vitality) and chaksu (vision).

Ayurveda recommends 3-5 tsp of ghruta every day to increase praanic energy, vitality and immunity. Keep old age away with daily intake of ghee either on rice or roti or eat it just by itself.

Santulan ghruta is prepared in the traditional way – no shortcuts! Cream is collected from milk, converted into curd, which is churned to get butter. This butter is finally converted into ghee. Ghee is a more conscious and healthy substitute for oil. Ghee when used in tadka gives a delectable flavour and enhances taste.

An excellent home remedy to prevent dryness and dullness of the metabolic system. Regular intake of ghee keeps fatigue, low energy, depression and old age away. Taking one tsp ghee in a cup of hot water at night before sleep is a home remedy to facilitate easy motions in the morning. Ghruta-paan or drinking medicated ghee is an irreplaceable part of Santulan’s rejuvenation and detox treatment – Panchakarma.
