The Atmasantulana Village and various groups of disciples and devotees have been taking foundational strides to seed Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe’s SOM Program and Life In Balance Movement in society. Here is a round up of all the efforts in this direction in the last few weeks.
Life In Balance Residential Seminar – 27-29 November
The Life In Balance Movement is an ideal corporate training program as it offers the individual the knowledge to offset stress and become part of his environment in a more holistic manner. From Sunday, 27 to Tuesday, 29 November, the Sakal Media Group corporate training program on the Life In Balance Movement was conducted by Shri Sunil Tambe, Shri Abhijit Pawar and Dr. Malvika Tambe through lectures. Shri Sunil Tambe and Shri Abhijit Pawar covered the entire scope of the 6 module activities over sessions from Sunday to Tuesday.
With over participants across different levels of management in Sakal from all over India, the program fulfilled the needs of a diverse range of professionals. The ideas of the program found acceptance across all these levels.
The seminar was holistic with Yoga sessions every morning conducted by Atmasantulana Yoga teachers, Yana, Priti, Sonal and Manoj. Dr. Malvika Tambe’s lecture on Panchakarma was especially appreciated with many participants expressing their desire, at the end, to experience the residential treatment program.
Mantra chanting, SOM Havan and Aum singing were demonstrated and the hall was charged with energy when 400 people sang Aum together. We would like to thank Shri Abhijit PAwar for this fabulous opportunity for taking Shreeguruji’s mission ahead.
The launch of SAFE – the lecture and Q&A – 3 December
The Santulan Ayurveda Fertility Experience has elicited great interest as awareness about SAFE and the solutions that Ayurveda offers was the main aim at the launch of SAFE, and has been picked up by the media. The presentation by Dr. Malvika Tambe at the Balshikshan Mandir Sabhagriha in Mayur Colony, Pune was aimed at educating would-be parents at a foundational level about the issues around fertility, busting misconceptions and making the couple more conducive to seeking help.
The power-packed lecture contained information that is scarcely available to families online or offline. Families were introduced not only to a way of thinking about infertility issues, but also to a step-by-step pathway towards successful conception and subsequent childbirth as well as long term care. Shri Sunil Tambe spoke about his experiences and also the participation and time investment of would-be fathers in the process.
The rush of appointments beginning the very next day at Santulan clinics is an indicator of the great need of these solutions in society. One of the aims of SAFE is also to make society aware of solving this issue through natural and holistic health care.
Demonstrating AUM singing at Sakal Group’s Swasthyam Festival – 10 Dec, 2022
As part of Sakal’s Swasthyam Global initiative, Shri Sunil Tambe was invited to teach Aum singing to an audience of 3000 people at the august Ganesh Kala Krida auditorium in Pune. The atmosphere was created by a large AUM logo and Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe’s massive portrait on stage.
In his limited time slot, Shri Sunil Tambe briefly explained AUM and how to sing it and got the audience to practise in their seats. To music provided by Nirada Gaumann and Vijay Tambe, he took the audience through the steps, singing and guiding the audience on how to follow. The auditorium resounded with 3000 voices offering a glimpse of the power that can be generated by group meditation. Shri Sunil Tambe preceded Shri Kumar Vishwas, the immensely popular poet and public speaker. Kumarji made a special note in his speech about the special atmosphere created through this meditation activity and Swasthyam’s initiative. He said this enthused him and became an opportunity for him to change his entire subject for the evening and proceeded to talk to people about the change he thought was required in individuals to create a better society.
SOM practitioners introduce SOM meditation to schools
Over the last several months, a group of disciples has been taking the initiative to introduce Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe’s technique of lamp gazing to several schools. A fundamental part of the SOM daily meditation program, lamp gazing with the AUM meditation track is aimed at helping school going children gain more focus, become more conscious and help teachers create a better atmosphere for learning.
While this initiative was earlier begun by Sudhir Sutar and Dhanashri Thakare at one school, they have been joined by more than a dozen disciples including Prashant Sawant, Poonam Raote, Atul Soman, Vijay Kale, Swati Singh, the Ghumare family and others. They are present in dozens of schools around Mumbai, Dombivli and Pune, and have introduced the practice to several thousand students.
We applaud their efforts and hopefully more disciples and well-wishers can continue to help them expand their reach for the SOM Program.
