This kriya is called Well Done or Shabas. It promotes opening up the body’s magnetism and deepens breathing. It relieves muscular energy blocks and satisfies the longing for appreciation, providing confidence.
It should be practised a maximum of 7 times on each side.
- Stand erect with the feet together and the arms straight by the sides. The hands are closed in fists with the thumbs pointing downwards.
- While inhaling, raise the right arm sideways up to shoulder level. From there, let it drop downwards and rotate it for 3 full rounds in the clockwise direction. The upper arm almost touches the nose as it passes near the face. Keep the elbow straight throughout the rotation.
- At the end of the third swing, open the fist and allow the right hand to fall on the left shoulder muscles while the right elbow comes to shoulder level, and exhale. While patting your left shoulder, say quietly to yourself ‘Well done!’
- Lower the right arm to the side.
- After practising several times with the right arm, repeat the kriya on the left side. Swing the left arm anti-clockwise and pat the right shoulder muscles.
