On 12 March, 2022, Dr. Malvika Tambe was invited as chief guest to an annual event organised by the Sanskar Aayiche Trust. The trust has been founded by the renowned astrologer Shri Vishwas Patwardhan in honour of his mother. In earlier years the trust has recognised and honoured luminaries such as Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe, Dr. Sancheti, Hanumant Gaikwad of the Bharat Vikas Group and Air Chief Marshal Gokhale.
The S. M. Joshi Auditorium, was packed to capacity, when Dr. Malvika presented her views on the importance of ancient sciences and how they are extremely practical and suitable even for modern life.
She highlighted that we need sciences that can provide guidance and Ayurveda and Astrology are knowledge systems that help us navigate daily choices as well as big decisions. For example, while planning marriages, one could consider the constitution according to Ayurveda, along with matching horoscopes. While choosing professions, think about constitutions. For a profession like Public Relations, a Vata constitution person who likes to speak and interact might do better. FOr professions that involve night duty, a Kapha person may be more suitable.
Dr. Malvika honoured the concept of Motherhood and said that the emotion behind motherhood can be experienced from any person who wishes to nurture you and your personality i.e.someone who will always support you, is happy with your success and is compassionate when you fail. Such a person is extremely important in everyone’s life, and she explained how Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe was like that in her life
Dr. Malvika was presented with an award titled ‘A Woman Who Has Enveloped The Sky’, in recognition of her all round achievements both personal and professional and contributions to society.
