In July 2022, the Santulan team in Germany had been invited to participate in India Summer Days in the city of Karlsruhe in Germany, once again. While Covid has limited the size of the event, the same good cheer and growing appreciation for Indian culture and Santulan remains the chief attraction for our participation.
Our enthusiastic team from Munich, Frankfurt, Gleichen and other places put in their best and even the weather seemed to simulate an Indian ‘hot’ climate. The “Indian Village” like ambience led to huge crowd interest in this tiny slice of India recreated in Karlsruhe.
Santulan VEDA and Santulan Ayurveda were prime partners and one of the co-sponsors of ISD, along with the Indian Consulate General and the City of Karlsruhe. The Santulan team offered various workshops and also had stalls of products and experiences.
Our ‘Insider’s Tip’, a compact consultation with Dr. Nikhil and Brigitte, was very well received, and their lectures much appreciated. The Yoga/Pranayama workshops with Elvira and Everlyn were a great success too. The fact that we practise Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation in our daily routine came across well in many open and sometimes amusing conversations.
Apart from these workshops, we had displayed various spices and Santulan Ayurveda products. Cooling Rose Water sprays by Lakshmi (a brand by Santulan member Katarina Von Nagy) were an absolute hit. Sanjay Tambe also anchored and moderated various programs at the cultural stage from morning till evening with active support from Arjun, who presented his own “Quiz-Show” for children about India and its culture.
We thank the Santulan team consisting of Arjun, Sanjay, Jeannette, Dr. Nikhil, Brigitte, Andrea, Jürgen, Berndt-Wagener, Ute und Florian, Everlyn, Olga, Jürgen, Peter und Christiane and our new teammate Yunona from Munich.
The Mayor of Karlsruhe Mr. Frank Mentrup paid his respects and recounted Shreeuruji’s immense contribution to India Summer Days and thanked the Santulan team for making it a holistic success. We hope to be able to take the teachings of Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe through more events like this in future as well.
All our offer at Santulan, on all levels, is so pure and authentic, meant for the benefit of humanity. I thank Shri Guruji every day that He allowed me to be a part of it.
