Taking inspiration from Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe’s constant effort to push for improvement in all fields in society as a whole, the Balaji Tambe Foundation has been devising ways to bring about advancements in educational institutions in local communities.

 

Computer Lab instituted for local Karla School – 20 January, 2023

The excitement at Ekvira Vidya Mandir and the Shrimati Lajwanti Hansraj Gupta primary school was palpable when a cutting edge computer lab was inaugurated at their school. Representatives of the Balaji Tambe Foundation, Shri Sunil Tambe and Shrimati Dr. Malvika Tambe were joined by the local Member of Legislative Assembly, Shri Sunil Shelke. He pointed out that students in rural areas too need a modern education, and appreciated this initiative taken by the Balaji Tambe Foundation, especially at a time when people in local communities needed a boost.

Shri Sunil Tambe said that the point was to improve quality of education at foundational levels, as only that will solve the problem of creating and winning jobs by the future youth of the country. The computer lab is set to benefit more than 450 students who are enrolled in computer classes across various grades.

 

 

Konkan Tour – Maaghi Ganapati Festival at Khedkudi

From 23 to 25 January 2023, the ancestral village of Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe celebrated the annual Maaghi Ganapati Jayanti Festival. As per our annual tradition a group of SOM members made the pilgrimage.

The 3-day festival brings the local community together at the Khedkudi Ganesh Mandir that is built around the Swayambhu Ganesh (a self created Ganesh nucleus) that appeared in a dream to Shreeguruji’s ancestor.

The group also visited the Kolhapur Mahalaxmi Mandir, the Dattatreya Swayambhu Mandir, The Loteshwar Mahadev Mandir, Narsobawadi and Shree Rangavadhoot Maharaj Math. 

 

School construction + Computer Lab donated to school in Ratnagiri

In the memory of Shreeguru Dr Balaji Tambe, Santulan Impex made a donation of 25 lacs for the construction of Mahatma Gandhi Secondary School in Umare, Ratnagiri. In addition, the Balaji Tambe Foundation donated a computer lab to the school.

The inauguration was attended by Minister of Industries Mr. Uday Samant, Abhijit Pawar, Sunil Tambe, Dr Malvika Tambe and other members of the SOM family. In his address the Minister of Industries noted that,”Most people who go from the village to the city forget about their roots but Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe has always had a village-first outlook. His principles need to be emulated by all.”

 

SAFE Event at Nashik

The Kusumagraj Pratishthan Hall at Gangapur Road, Nashik, was filled with couples planning to become parents, attending the talk on SAFE (Santulan Ayurveda Fertility Experience) by Dr. Malvika Tambe.

The second SAFE Event, after the launch in Pune in December, 2022 was also met with enthusiastic audience participation. After Dr. Malvika’s talk, covering the benefits of SAFE, several people participated in the Q&A to resolve their doubts. SAFE patients are now seen making a beeline at Santulan Clinics as a result of this awareness campaign.

Based on 50 years of research by Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe, SAFE is a proven initiative with fantastic results. Santulan Ayurveda has plans to take the SAFE Event to major cities and increase awareness about infertility and offer personalised solutions.
