Ram Navami and Hanuman Jayanti at Atmasantulana Village

It is not a coincidence that Hanuman Jayanti on the Purnima or full moon of the Indian month of Chaitra falls just six days after Hanumanji’s Lord and Master, Shri Rama, is born on the Navami (9th moon phase) of the same month. After all, the ancient principles taught by Shreeguru Dr. Balaji Tambe tell us that Life Force follows wherever Consciousness goes. Life Force actions everything that Consciousness orders. In this analogy, Hanumanji is Life Force and Shri Rama is Pure Consciousness.

A Yadnya for Ram Navami was conducted by Shri Anirudh Pujari Gurujeet. This was followed by a special meditation focused on the Manipur Chakra with the Beena Mantra ‘AUM Ram’ in the voice of Shreeguruji on Rama Navami at high noon (the time of Shri Rama’ birth) was followed by a sumptuous Prasad lunch. Satsang with the Master in the form of a recorded video lecture from Shreeguruji’s vast collection is always most appreciated as the truth ringing in his words makes them fresh, current and invigorating even if one has heard the lecture ealier.

On Hanuman Jayanti, it is best to worship Hanumanji in the early morning at the crack of dawn when Pramanik energy, which we seek from Him, is highest in the atmosphere. After a puja at the Hanuman Temple, the group sat in an open to sky meditation outside Hanumanji’s door, next to the cow shala. The entire Hanuman healing music album composed and sung by Shreeguruji played end-to-end like a meditation session and created a highly charged atmosphere. A small Prasad of gur-chana to provide instant energy after the morning’s activity rounded off the experience.

Even more than the information and and rich study of ancient Vedic practices and knowledge, it is the actual practice in daily life at Atmasantulana Village that offers the chance to really understand these ancient principles in alignment with Nature and the Supreme that can bring life in balance.
